- 7903, zinc dust, powders and flakes: zinc ground into fine particles or thin flakes.
- 7904, zinc bars, rods, profiles and wire: zinc made into long shapes.
- 7905, zinc plates, sheets, strip and foil: flat zinc in different thicknesses.
- 7907, other zinc articles: finished zinc goods not named in any other heading of the chapter.
How to choose the right zinc HS code
Start with the form of your product. Is it a raw block, a powder, a wire or a flat sheet? The form tells you the heading. Only two headings need a second choice.
Unwrought zinc is split by purity and by alloy. So the difference between 790111 and 790112 is purity alone. If the zinc is mixed with other metals on purpose, use 790120 for alloys.
