Import Data

Import data is a buyer list caught in the act of buying.

A directory tells you who calls themselves an importer. Import data tells you who cleared your HS code through customs this quarter: named company, port, date, quantity, declared price. In 38 of our 43 direct markets, the buyer’s real name is on the record.

From raw import data to eight buyers worth your quote.

You don’t need two hundred maybes. You need the handful of importers who are actively buying your category, at volumes you can serve, at prices you can beat. That is a filtering problem, and import data is what you filter.

Rank buyers by real volume

Buyer concentration per HS code shows who is actually winning the market: which importers take container loads monthly versus who sampled once a year ago.

Read the company ledger

Every named importer gets a profile: HS coverage, top suppliers, shipment cadence, ports and contact research. You walk into the first email knowing their business.

Map your competitor’s buyers

Search your competitor as the supplier and their import side lights up: every buyer they ship to, at what declared price. That is your displacement list.

The window

Import data has a shelf life. That’s the point.

An importer who shipped every month can vanish from the feed in 90 days: switched suppliers, or a competitor got there first. Because our partner feeds refresh daily, the buyer you find is one importing now, not a name from last year’s directory. Timing is the difference between a warm lead and a missed one.

  • See which buyers are active in your HS code this quarter.
  • Reach them with their real purchase prices in hand.
  • Get there before the competitor reading the same data.

Import data, asked and answered.

What is import data?

Import data is the customs record of goods entering a country: for each shipment, the importing company, the overseas supplier, the HS code, the port, the date, the quantity and the declared value. It is prospecting material with evidence attached: you see who actually buys, not who advertises.

Can I really see importer names?

In 38 of our 43 directly licensed markets, yes: the customs record carries the importer’s real company name, and the platform builds a profile around it: HS coverage, top suppliers, shipment cadence, ports and contact research. In the remaining markets the shipment facts are available without names, and we say so.

How do I find importers of my specific product?

Search by your HS code (use our free HS classifier if you don’t know it), filter by target market and time window, and rank the resulting importers by shipment volume. On a live demo we do exactly this with your product, on screen, in 30 minutes.

Can I see who my competitors sell to?

Yes. Search your competitor as the supplier and the records show every importer they shipped to, when, at what declared value. Competitor buyer mapping is one of the six core surfaces of the platform.

What does access cost?

Platform access is $1,100 for 6 months or $1,799 for 12 months, published on the site, no “contact sales” dance. Before any of that, you get a 30-minute live demo on your own HS code.
