Is EximDataX legit? Test data authenticity yourself
Stars can be bought. A record that matches a shipment you already know is much harder to fake. EximDataX shows shipment-level import and export records, so you can judge data authenticity against trade you can verify from your own files.
Whichever way you use it, a short test tells you more than any rating:
- Search an HS code you ship or buy every week and see which importers and exporters appear.
- Compare the named parties with counterparties you already deal with.

When customer reviews and EximDataX ratings appear here, a score alone is not the point: each one comes from a verified customer, and the words beside it matter more than the stars.
The most useful user feedback names a market, a product code or a missing field; that tells you more than a five-star line. Critical reviews show where the data falls short for a given use.
Data accuracy and data refresh frequency explained
A direct customs feed means the records come from that country's own customs source. Mirror-derived data covers countries without a direct feed and is built from trade reported by partner countries. It suits market sizing better than checking one company.
Named parties are the buyers and suppliers that appear by name on a record. Where they are present, you can look up a specific company. Where they are not, you see the trade flow but not who stands behind it. This is the main factor in data accuracy for counterparty work.
Data refresh frequency differs by market: most refresh weekly, some daily, so check the one you need before you plan around it. Sanctions screening runs alongside the records, so you can test a counterparty against published lists before you trade.
